On the festival float, there should be wind-up dolls
The old town's cityscape of Arimatsu City, sunset at Shibori Slope
Tying the kano ko shibori* on the head, yanagino shibori**
I wring the tears from my chest.

Oh, turning my back to the crowd of people
I'm still thinking about him
The yarn of love which is still entangled

Our meeting and parting were both very sudden
It was so fast, the winds of happiness quickly passed through
Even the farewell that day
One day will make it into a fleeting memory

Oh a man and a woman are lonely
Why do our hearts slip by each other
And hurt each other the more we like each other

Oh a man and a woman are lonely
Why do our hearts slip by each other
And hurt each other the more we like each other
