Shimadzu Etsuko(島津悦子)

Shimadzu Etsuko(島津悦子) used to work as a bus guide in Shizuoka Prefecture.

In 1988, she made her debut with "Secretly Going to an Inn(しのび宿 Shinobi Yado)." She had a lot of support when starting out, including help from Tan Michio(丹道夫), an entrepreneur who started Daitan Group(ダイタングループ) which manages the chain soba restaurants Nadai Fuji Soba(名代 富士そば).

She currently sings for King Record Co., Ltd. and often include shōchū from her home prefecture Kagoshima in the songs' lyrics.
