Though now there really isn't much difference between a city and a countryside
The winds of Tsugaru still remain the same as that day
I still believe in you
We grew up together, a rival in love
Let's drink together and reminisce about the past

Come back to Tsugaru from time to time
Staying here two, three days will reinvigorate you
You appeared in my dreams yesterday
Waving your hands at the Iwaki Mountain
It's ok, you can come back and start all the way from the beginning

My place and your place both
We haven't changed, don't worry
Yosare jonkara* season of apples
Don't work too hard, don't catch a cold
I'll be waiting for the day when I can see you again

*Yosare and jonkara are both types of traditional Japanese songs.
