The memories from a single summer, I walk holding those dreams to this chest
That summer which I won't forget, I burn to my eyes
Oh red flower, the redness of your flower petals
Oh blue sky, this island's blueness
Again, again, let's meet again, during the season when I can sense the fragrance of the winds
Again, again, let's meet again, around the time when the sun blooms
Anyone is a god

The memories from a single summer, please use it as food for tomorrow
That summer with fond memories, turn it into a medal
Oh, moonflower, your pure whiteness
Oh ocean, this island's blueness
Again, again, let's meet again, during the season when the winds that blow at end of the rainy season blooms
Again, again, again, let's meet again, around the time when the rainbow crosses the sky
Everyone is a god

Again, again, let's meet again, at the beautiful island country
Again, again, let's meet again, the island where love is nurtured, the island that gives love
Anyone is a god
Anyone is a god
Everyone is a god

The barking raging ocean, I put my life on the line
Heading towards the fish market along the white wave path
The tunnel of waves, approaching the tunas
They bite onto my arms
I caught it, ee, I caught it, ee
Going back home unfinished I cannot bear
I'm sorry that I keep you waiting all the time
I want to drink the miso soup on the beach

When the man of the sea is disheartened
Enka is the best, it gets to my heart
Until I go home with the big catch flag
We work together and fight
I caught it, ee, I caught it, ee
I was to see your smile soon
I remember the warmth of your white skin
Wait with our mischievous son

I caught it, ee, I caught it, ee
Going back home unfinished I cannot bear
I'm sorry that I keep you waiting all the time
I want to drink the miso soup on the beach

Ōshiro Banesa(大城バネサ)

Ōshiro Banesa(大城バネサ) is an enka singer from Argentina (nisei or second-generation Argentine with Japanese ancestors). Her father and her mother's paternal grandparents were from Okinawa. As a result, she was exposed to traditional Okinawa and other Japanese music from an early age.

She first sang in public when she was three years old, singing "Along for the Ride(みちづれ Michidzure)" by Makimura Mieko(牧村三枝子).

In 2001, she won the "NHK Amateur Singing Contest(NHKのど自慢 NHK Nodo Jiman)" held in Argentina that year and the next year, she represented Argentina in the "NHK Amateur Singing Contest(NHKのど自慢 NHK Nodo Jiman)" in Japan and became the grand champion singing Kadokura Yuki(門倉有希)'s "A woman's Fishing Song(女の漁歌 On'nano Ryōka)." She moved to Japan that year, and made her professional debut the next year in 2003, singing "It's an Ocean where Even Seagulls Don't Fly(鷗も飛ばない海だよ Kamomemo Tobanai Umidayo)."

She wore pants suits when she made her debut but now wears dresses from time to time.

Though she has learned quite a bit of Japanese since she started living in Japan, she got used to the way men speak because most of her staff were men. As a result, she is extra careful when she is speaking in public.
