Mikado Chūji(三門忠司) left her day job after passing her audition for CBS Sony in 1979 and made her professional singing debut in 1980 with the single
"Drifting to Osaka(流れて大阪 Nagarete Ōsaka)."

In 1984, he won the newcomer's award at the "All-Japan Cable Broadcasting Grand Prix(全日本有線放送大賞 Zen'Nippon Yūsen Hōsō Taishō)" for his single "One-sided Love Sake(片恋酒 Katakoizake)."
