Iwamoto Kumi(岩本公水)

Iwamoto Kumi(岩本公水) made her professional debut in 1995 with the single "Fireworks in the Snow(雪花火 Yuki Hanabi)."

She won the "NHK Newcomer Kayōkyoku Singing Contest(NHK新人歌謡コンテスト NHK Shinjin Kayō Kontesuto)" in 1997 and sang in the Kōhaku Utagassen that year.

In 2005, she stopped making public appearances after losing her voice. She returned to singing in 2007. During that time, she earned various certifications such as second rank for caregiving.

She is the sightseeing ambassador for Ugo City in Akita Prefecture and the Saitama Traditional Craft Hall PR ambassador(埼玉伝統工芸会館 Saitama Dentō Kugei  Kaikan).
