In 1992, Kawano Natsumi(川野夏美) won the Ocean of Fire Kids' Karaoke Contest(火の海まつりちびっこカラオケ大会 Hi no Umi Matsuri Chibikko Karaoke Taikai) and has won several more singing contests since then.
She has appeared on various TV programs such as NHK Song Concert(NHK歌謡コンサート NHK Kayō Konsāto) and has appeared on the radio program "Are You Doing Well, This Is Kitajima Saburo!(お元気ですか、北島三郎です！Ogenkidesuka, Kitajima Saburō Desu!)" on Radio Japan as the MC assistant.
Nippon Crown Co. Ltd. chose her as one of the commemoration artist for the company's thirty fifth anniversary and made her debut on November 1998 singing the song "Rampaging Strait(あばれ海峡 Abare Kaikyō)."
