Tagawa Toshimi(田川寿美)

Tagawa Toshimi(田川寿美) studied under composer Suzuki Jun(鈴木淳) after graduating from junior high school.

She made her debut in 1992 with the single "A Woman... A Journey Alone(女…ひとり旅 Onna... Hitoritabi)." That year, she won the best newcomer award at the Japan Cable Awards.

In 2002, she sung "Nyoninkōya*(女人高野 Nyoninkōya)" wearing a costume that mixed Japanese and western clothes and sung the enka song using an electric guitar. This was the only time she performed with this unique combination.

She has appeared on Kōhaku Utagassen four times, in 1994, 1995, 1998, and 2002.

She got married in 2011, and in 2012, she gave birth to her first child, a boy.
