Asada Atsuko(浅田あつこ)

Asada Atsuko(浅田あつこ)'s real name is pronounced the same as her stage name, although she writes Atsuko as 敦子.

She became interested in music through her father and elder sister's influence, who managed a karaoke kissaten(cafe).

She made her debut in 1994 with the song "Thought Flower(想い花 Omoibana). She wore a kimono during her performances when she made her debut, but switched to wearing western clothing starting from a performance in 1999.

She has a high-pitched voice which she uses when she's singing and also when she's carrying on a regular conversation. She speaks slowly using the Osaka dialect.

Her pet name (nickname) is Anchi(あんち) or Accchan(あっちゃん).

When she won the grand prize for the Second Enka Renaissance newcomer's award, she received a kimono from Ishikawa Sayuri, who was a special guest there.
