Kudō Ayano(工藤あやの)

Kudō Ayano(工藤あやの) inherited her mother's interest in min'yō* and started singing when she was young. She entered many singing competition and won many of them.

In 2010, she entered and won "Gen Tetsuya North's Enka Seat 2010(弦哲也北区(きた)の演歌座2010 Gen Tetsuya Kita No Enkaza 2010)" and became his student.

In January of 2014, she made her debut with Tokuma Japan Communications Co., Ltd. with the single "Cherries. Yearning for Love(さくらんぼ 恋しんぼ Sakuranbo Koishinbo)." The company decided to advertise her has "Yamagata's Sunny Spot Daughter(山形のひだまり娘 Yamagata no Hidamari Musume)."

Her teacher Gen Tetsuya (弦哲也) has called her "A Forgotten Item from the Showa Era(昭和の忘れ物 Shōwa no Wasuremono)," giving a huge seal of his approval.

*Min'yō is a type of Japanese folk music.
