Wada Seiji(和田青児)

Wada Seiji(和田青児)'s mother took him to a concert given by Kitajima Saburō(北島三郎) which left a deep impression on him.

In 1982, he made his first TV appearance on the show "Challenging to Imitate the Singing and Dancing Stars!!(歌まね振りまねスターに挑戦!! Uta mane furi mane sutā ni chōsen! !)"

In 1987, he made his professional debut with the single "Port Town Worthless Man(港町 ろくでなし Minatomachi Rokudenashi)"using the professional name Tōdō Tetsuya(藤堂哲也) but left after a single year because his singing career took away to much of his studying time.

In 1988, he graduated from high school and went to study under Kitajima Saburō(北島三郎).

In 1999, he made his second professional debut with the song "Departing Ueno Station(上野発 Uenohatsu)."
