Ōtsuki Miyako(大月みやこ) made her professional debut in 1964 with the single "Mother's Love Shamisen(母恋三味線 Haha Koi Shamisen)."
In 1992, shen won the Japan Record Award for enka and kayōkyoku category for her single "White Strait(白い海峡 Shiroi Kaikyō)."
She has appeared on Kōhaku Utagassen a total of ten times, between 1986 and 1989 then from 1991 to 1996.
