Nagai Miyuki(永井みゆき)

Nagai Miyuki(永井みゆき) became the grand champion for the Sixth Kansai Enka Contest(第6回関西演歌大賞 Dai 6-kai Kansai Enka Taishō). Next year, she moved to Tokyo and became composer Taka Takshi(たかたかし)'s apprentice.

In 1992, while attending high school, she made her professional debut with the single "Osaka Sparrow(大阪すずめ Ōsaka Suzume)."

She won the newcomer's award at the 34th Japan Record Awards(第34回日本レコード大賞 Dai 34-kai Nihon Rekōdo Taishō).

She is a member of the singing unit "Rainbow Rabbit Group(レインボーうさぎ組 Reinbō Usagi Gumi)," a group of singers all born in the year of the rabbit, along with Uesugi Kaori(上杉香緒里) and Yamaguchi Hiromi(山口ひろみ).

She is also one half of the duo Mai and Miyuki(みゆき&舞) along with Mizuki Mai(みずき舞) who was Miyuki's senpai at high school.
