Takemura Kozue(竹村こずえ) was the champion for the NHK Amateur Singing Contest(NHK のど自慢,NHK のど じまん NHK Nodo Jiman) twice and has also won other various singing competitions.
At one of those competitions, she caught lyricist Kuni Kyōsuke(久仁京介)'s attention and started taking singing lessons.
In 2014, she made her debut with "Skyquake of Noto(能登の海鳴り Notono Uminari)."
She is a single mother with three children, and she has worked as a truck driver.
