Yamaguchi Hiromi(山口ひろみ) was born into a family of entertainers. Her father was Rūkī Shinji(ルーキーしんじ), comedian Rūkī Shin'ichi(ルーキー 新一)'s disciple while her mother and aunt formed a manzai performing pair Kamogawa Kamome & Chidori(加茂川かもめ・ちどり). Her grandparents also performed both rōkyoku and manzai.
She graduated from the School of Business at Ritsumeikan University(立命館大学 Ritsumeikan Daigaku). While attending the university, she became Kitajima Saburō(北島三郎)'s disciple.
She made her professional debut in 2002 with the single "Oxidized Silver(いぶし銀 Ibushigin.)"
In 2007, she formed a singing unit Seichan♡Mi'ichan(セイちゃん♡ミーちゃん) with Wada Seiji(和田青児) and released the single "A Good Looking Woman and a Good Looking Guy(いい女といい男… I'i On'nato I'i Otoko...)"
She is a member of the singing unit "Rainbow Rabbit Group(レインボーうさぎ組 Reinbō Usagi Gumi)," a group of singers all born in the year of the rabbit, along with Nagai Miyuki(永井みゆき) and Uesugi Kaori(上杉香緒里).
