Ikeda Kazuo(池田一男) became a champion on the show NHK Amateur Singing Contest(NHK のど自慢 NHK Nokojiman) in 1984.
He made his major record debut in March of 2011 from Tokuma Japan Communications Co., Ltd. with the single "To Mrs. Wife ~ A Letter of Appreciation from a Man(女房どの～男の感謝状 Nyōbōdono ~ Otokono Kanshajō)."
He appeared on the show "NHk Kayo Concert(NＨＫ歌謡コンサート NHK Kayō Konsāto)" for the first time in September of 2014.
